Raleigh Spanish Center was founded in 2025 to provide students with top-tier language instruction and cultural competency.

Inspired by Raleigh's expanding Spanish-speaking community, these classes are designed to give students confidence in their transactional, conversational, and professional Spanish that will last a lifetime. 

We offer individual classes to help students succeed in the classroom, professionals build their business skills, and interested learners gain a useful understanding of the Spanish language, putting everybody on the path to fluency.

Raleigh Spanish Center is led by James Virgil, a certified Spanish teacher in the Wake County Public School System. James has extensive experience teaching both English and Spanish in addition to working and studying throughout Latin America. James has a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from Wake Forest University and an MA in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University.
